Chief Executive Officer
Griffin Hagle

Before joining TNHA, Mr. Hagle managed home-upgrade programs for the North Slope Borough. His passions include building science, workforce development, and communicating the benefits of healthy, sustainable homes for all. Under his leadership, TNHA is charting a strategic direction to increase skilled local hire and develop more affordable housing for a changing Arctic.

Chief Financial Officer

Aireen Amad

Ms. Amad joins TNHA with 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. She is responsible for oversight of TNHA’s fiscal management and production of financial statements for the Board of Commissioners and other stakeholders. Ms. Amad’s background gives her a wealth of knowledge to contribute to TNHA’s mission and goals on behalf of the people of the Arctic Slope.

Administrative Manager
Tavia Barr

Maaniġmiuguruŋa! Mrs. Barr has lived and worked in Barrow during the last 20 years. She is a foster and adoptive mom, which fuels her strong desire to make TNHA a better place to live and work. She has a strong desire to create an effective workplace which serves the community by utilizing her background in housing and customer service on the slope.
 
Project Manager
Claude Garoutte

Mr. Garoutte has extensive experience in residential construction, procurement and contracts, environmental review, energy codes, modeling software and occupancy program management. His projects, which have been featured in national publications, include the first portable, adjustable five- and six-star-rated energy-efficient healthy homes in the Arctic. His work provides data that drives industry standards higher and improves quality of life.

Operations Manager
Andrew Kroll

With over 25 years of dynamic leadership experience spanning six continents, Mr. Kroll joined TNHA in 2013 as a Boiler Technician and Renewable-Heating Specialist. He quickly fell in love with the Arctic landscape and people, and now heads up our Operations Department. Andrew is passionate about the environment and enjoys family time, subsistence hunting and fishing, and growing his own local produce.
